Baltimore was outside in style for the Supreme Aries & Taurus Extravaganza, a celebration that brought together the city’s best and brightest for an unforgettable night at the beautiful Renaissance Hotel. The evening honored the 50th birthdays of Daron "Big Status" Peaks and Miss Vee, with a special spotlight on the 50th birthday of Henry “Sayword” Jonez — and the party did not disappoint.
💫 A Grown & Elegant Affair
From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just another birthday party — it was the event of the season. The Renaissance’s sophisticated ambiance set the tone with high ceilings, soft lighting, and chic decor. Adding a whimsical and unforgettable touch? A dancer on stilts moving gracefully through the crowd, creating an atmosphere that was part gala, part show-stopping spectacle.

💃 Fashion, Flair & Fierce Vibes
Guests showed up dressed to impress. Women dazzled in everything from floor-length gowns to bold, body-con dresses, while the men pulled out the stops in crisp tuxedos and custom-tailored suits. The overall aesthetic was mature, fly, and photo-ready.

🎧 Soundtrack of the Night: The DJ Dream Team
If music is the soul of a party, then this one had plenty. The DJ lineup was stacked with heavy-hitters who took the crowd on a journey from smooth R&B grooves to pulse-pounding hip-hop classics:
DJ Jamal
DJ Kenny K
DJ Supa Big L
DJ Sean Marshall
DJ Double L Lee
Far from just playing tracks, these DJs were truly DJ’ing — reading the room, blending seamlessly, and keeping the dance floor hot from start to finish.

🎤 Hosts with the Most
The flow of the evening was masterfully guided by Mr. Phillyawn, whose charisma and commanding mic presence kept the energy high. Ryan Da Lion brought his signature fire, moving the crowd and keeping the dance floor alive, while Stephen Bell laid down the smooth foundation early on, creating an elegant and energetic atmosphere.
🎶 A Moment to Remember: Scola Dinero Takes the Stage
The undeniable highlight of the night came with a live performance from Scola Dinero of Dru Hill, a hometown hero whose soulful vocals brought the room to life. From the moment he stepped on stage, the crowd was locked in, singing every line right along with him. It was a shared, nostalgic moment that unified the room and paid tribute to Baltimore’s deep musical roots.
🥂 Legacy, Love, and a Lot of Style
More than just a birthday bash, the Supreme Aries & Taurus Extravaganza was a celebration of life, legacy, and community. It was a space where Black excellence thrived, where joy was on full display, and where every guest, from the spotlighted honorees to those on the sidelines, felt like they were part of something special.
