The Baltimore Ravens are reportedly close to finalizing a contract extension with veteran left tackle Ronnie Stanley. After completing a one-year, $7.5 million contract in 2024, Stanley is set to become an unrestricted free agent on March 12, 2025. However, both parties have expressed mutual interest in continuing

their partnership. League insiders suggest that the new deal could be valued between $21 million and $23 million annually. Stanley's consistent performance and leadership have been pivotal for the Ravens' offensive line, making his retention a priority for the team's management.

Speculation has arisen regarding the Ravens' interest in acquiring All-Pro safety Tyrann Mathieu from the New Orleans Saints. A trade proposal suggests that Baltimore could bolster its secondary by bringing in the seasoned defensive back. While no official discussions have been confirmed, such a move would significantly enhance the Ravens' defensive lineup, adding experience and versatility.

Kicker Justin Tucker, known for his reliability, is currently under investigation, leading to concerns about his future with the team. Additionally, a decline in his performance has been noted, prompting the Ravens to consider their options at the kicker position. The organization may need to explore alternatives to ensure consistency in their special teams unit for the upcoming season.

As the offseason progresses, the Ravens' management continues to address key areas to strengthen the team's competitiveness for the 2025 season.
